Wow, this is amazing, I'm averaging 1 post a year. I think the strain must be too much.

Winter again?

Wow, that must have been a heck of a winter....and now it's back. They're saying 10 inches of snow a high winds. I'll believe it when I see it. I wouldn't mind a lot of snow, as long as it comes when I'm at home so I can sew.

House Update

Building a house is not as much fun as some people think. It's a lot of decisions. The tile is the worst, it's permanent. The paint is less tramatic, but still causes me no end of grief. We're going with more gray than blue this time, but I guess there's some purple now.

Farmer in the Dell

I love the indoor water parks of the Wisconsin Dells. It's really depressing that Lake Delton hasn't come back. I talked with a gal at the local grocery store and she thought maybe next summer. They're thinking it will 3-4 weeks for it to fill up. Not sure how they'll do it. I'll have to come back next year and get the scoop.

This morning we found a diner worthy of Guy's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives - it was Denny's Diner (not part of the "Denny's" chain). They make their own breads, biscuits, sausage gravy, and hash. We ate everything we ordered - which was a lot. We'll have to do a lot of swimming today to work that breakfast off. I need to get an email off to Guy.

Great Weekend

Saturday - Kettled Chicken
My favorite way to spend a day: boiling chicken in lard over an open fire, drinking beer, and hanging out with family and friends. I made hot sauce for the wings and a pinnaple salsa for the chips....both were a tad on the "hot" side (oh darn). What a beautiful day it was.

Sunday Sports
Today was my son's soccer game. He's great, scoring the most points of either team. Another gorgeous day, cool and sunny.

Day Two

Everyday I come into my blogspot, I click on the "unlock by blog" request link. Three times it has let me complete the form to request an unlock (the others times it always said that they had received the request on some date). The last time I did the unlock link it said someone would review it within two business days. Today is the second or third day, depending on how you count days.....here's hoping that I finally get unlocked.......

Monday Night Football

My Monday's are my own again. And what did I do with it tonight? Worked on work stuff, not my fun stuff. Maybe next week....
